Wedding Fun!

We're down to 4 1/2 months and can't believe it! We have decided on a lot, but still have some pretty important decisions to make.

Recently, we finished our save the dates and mailed them out. We had a slight ooops and forgot to remove the spell check from beneath my name on the first print outs! Luckily, we had the most amazing printer man who reprinted them for us at no cost, thank goodness.



We also got to sample a few different gluten free cake flavors! yummm!




I've been working on the centerpieces and discovered that Pete really likes burlap...or he just really wants to help.

A decision!

We've decided on our colors...eggplant and pistachio! AKA...purple and green. There will be the main color of deep plumy purple and then the green will mostly be the bright pistachio color; but other shades of green will be involved in the flowers, decorations, etc.

I made this collage to represent our color pallet and theme all in one! (Thanks to all the other blogs that I got these photos from!) We're going with a love bird theme and incorporating a nature-like feel.

So we've finally made some decisions!

And we're off...

We've been engaged since the 4th of July, 2009... and it's finally time to start getting down to business!
